【Kyoto's Tradition and Innovation Weave Together, a Matcha with a Deep Aroma】
"A Sweet Aroma Like Roasted Soybean Flour" and "A Clear Umami with a Firm Outline"
Sourced from the Kyoto-Uji area, "Matcha Ichi Baisen" stands out due to its unique roasting method. This high-temperature roasting of tencha creates a sweet, kinako-like aroma, a clear umami, and a refreshing finish. Its striking reddish-green color adds elegance to tea and sweets, and its approachable taste welcomes all.
Carefully Selected Tea Leaves with Traditional Process
We have carefully selected three varieties of tea leaves: Samidori, Yabukita, and Okumidori. Each tea leaf is carefully machine-harvested to maximize its individuality.
The passion of the producers, who adhere to traditional methods while constantly pursuing new flavors, is imbued in this "Matcha Ichi Baisen."
For Everyday Use, and for Special Occasions
It is ideal not only as everyday matcha, but also for tea ceremonies and hospitality for guests. Its rich aroma and deep taste will surely captivate everyone.

My favorite matcha powder for lattes! So so good
やばい、この抹茶はほんとにおいしい!
Scent: As advertised (Kinako), very fragrant!
Taste: As advertised (Roasted taste, somewhat astringent, umami is obvious)
Personal Remarks: This product is one I keep thinking: "I wanna brew another cup again". At its current price point and versatile preparation methods, Whether as a koicha or as a latte, I SERIOUSLY recommend this product as an everyday, beginner-friendly matcha.
Different from your normal daily matcha. This gove another layer of roasted proffile, very mild hojicha fragrance but lack matcha’s flavour. Overall not bad, worth to give it a try.
kinda fun. tastes like roasted rice
Amazing matcha.
