One transcendent cup of gyokuro ignited a passion in the founder Nobuhiro from Kyoto. It led him to create Hatoya, where we offer exquisite, seasonal matcha varieties, each a testament to the dedication of local producers.
We started Hatoya as a very small shop, only about 39 square feet.
Nobuhiro himself joins in the fields, personally harvesting the tea leaves that infuse our matcha with its unparalleled flavor and story. We invite you to taste the passion and tradition in every sip.
