Important: Removal of 15% US Reciprocal Tariff on Matcha & How to Dispute Incorrect Charges
Share
We have confirmed that instances are occurring where the reciprocal tariff on matcha, which should have been reduced to 0% now, is still being charged. We sincerely apologize for the concern this has caused.
We would like to inform you that the US Government made an official announcement on November 14, 2025, stating that the reciprocal tariff rate for the matcha products we offer (Matcha Powder, Houjicha Powder) has been reduced from 15% to 0%.
Therefore, if you have received a charge for the reciprocal tariff, the charge is incorrect, and you have the right to file a dispute.
We have attempted to resolve this directly with DHL on our end. However, their responses have been delayed and we were unfortunately passed between different departments without a clear resolution.
Based on our experience, disputes are resolved much more efficiently when filed directly by the recipient. We have seen several cases where customers successfully had their charges waived by filing a dispute instead of paying on the spot.
We would be grateful if you could contact duty_disputes@dhl.com using the following format we have created:
